Young Entrepreneur Showcase

The Young Entrepreneur Showcase is an exciting new feature of the Cherokee Trail Craft Fair, a space designed to ignite creativity, spark confidence, and celebrate the next generation of innovators.

This special area of the fair gives elementary and middle school students the opportunity to explore the world of entrepreneurship by selling products they’ve made, designed, or imagined themselves. From handmade crafts and baked goods to art and original creations, every student-run booth is a small business in action, built from their own ideas and hard work.

Great News: Your Support is Making a Big Impact!

We’re excited to share how your continued support, especially through our craft fairs over the past two years  has allowed us to do something truly special for our school community.

Because our last two craft fairs exceeded expectations, and with rollover and discretionary funds thoughtfully managed in our budget, we were able to:

  • Awarded $12,000 in Winter Teacher Grants

  • Awarded $23,000 in Spring Teacher Grants

  • Made a capital improvement donation toward the new scoreboard

We want to be transparent: the scoreboard project was carefully reviewed and fully aligned with our PTCO bylaws and district guidelines. We received quotes, assessed the long-term impact, and ensured it met all the requirements for a PTCO-funded donation.

These contributions directly support our students, teachers, and school spirit and they wouldn’t be possible without you. Whether you participated in the craft fair, volunteered, donated, or simply cheered us on, please know that your involvement matters.

Thank you for being such an important part of the PTCO community!

Classroom Grants

How we give back:
Our major fundraising projects are our semi-annual craft fairs that take place in the fall and spring of each year.  The fundraising dollars that we make go back into the classrooms/school in the form of grants that are meant to support all students attending Cherokee Trail HS.

Community Involvement

We support a safe, and encouraging environment of community involvement and participation for the enrichment of the student and campus experience.

Teacher Appreciation Week

We annually sponsor a lunch &/or breakfast each year during Teacher Appreciation Week.  We also volunteer to provide meals (such as potlucks) for the teachers and staff during non-virtual parent/teacher conference nights.

Volunteer for the CT PTCO!
